The cost of a one-hour introductory flight lesson is $198,
which includes one hour of flight instruction and one hour
of aircraft rental. Additionally, the pilot will receive
30 minutes of ground school.
This is an actual
flight lesson, not simply a ride in a plane around the
airport. The student will receive an official pilot log
book to log the flight time, as well as a First Flight
Certificate suitable for framing, and a six-month
subscription to Flight Training magazine.
During introductory flight lessons, students are assigned a certified flight instructor and given ground instruction prior to the flight. The flight portion begins with a thorough pre-flight inspection conducted by the flight instructor together with the student, followed by the actual flight - where the student handles the controls and does much of the flying themselves. (Dual controls ensure that safety of the flight is maintained at all times.)
Plus, unlike many other flight schools, Royal Karina does allow students to bring a friend on their flight.
